Kiwanis Club of Coeur d’Alene Volunteers Support Taste of Coeur d’Alene

This past weekend, 10 members of the Kiwanis Club of Coeur d’Alene volunteered alongside our Kiwanis brothers and sisters from the Panhandle Kiwanis Club at the Beer Garden during the annual Taste of Coeur d’Alene.

Now in its 38th year, the Taste of Coeur d’Alene has become one of North Idaho’s signature summer traditions. Held in beautiful Coeur d’Alene City Park, the three-day festival attracts more than 75,000 residents and visitors who come to enjoy outstanding local food, handcrafted artwork, live entertainment, and a lively beer garden featuring regional microbrews. Admission is free, making it one of the area’s most popular community events.

The Beer Garden is operated by volunteers and serves as an important fundraiser that helps Panhandle Kiwanis continue its many community service projects throughout the year. Our club was proud to lend a helping hand by staffing shifts, serving guests, and helping keep the event running smoothly. It’s a great example of Kiwanis clubs working together to strengthen our community.

One of the greatest things about Kiwanis is that service doesn’t stop at the boundaries of our individual clubs. Whether we’re assembling hygiene kits, supporting local nonprofits, mentoring youth, or helping another Kiwanis club with one of its largest annual fundraisers, we’re all united by a common mission: improving the lives of children and building stronger communities.

A big thank you to the Panhandle Kiwanis Club for organizing another outstanding Taste of Coeur d’Alene, and thank you to all of our Kiwanis Club of Coeur d’Alene volunteers who generously donated their time and energy throughout the weekend. We appreciate the opportunity to serve together and look forward to doing it again next year!
