Community Impact

Charitable Giving

One of the major ways that the Kiwanis Club of Coeur d’Alene serves the North Idaho community is through funding Grant Requests from a variety of local charitable organizations that align with our Club’s mission. Through these grants, we help strengthen the charities that strengthen our community. This builds a better future for all of us!

Funds donated thus far in 2026 $8,462.92
Funds donated in 2025 (total) $37,617.53

We fund Grant Requests received from a wide variety of local Charities, focusing mainly – but certainly not exclusively – on helping children and families in need. Over the past year, we have helped out the following organizations:

If you work for or know of a charitable organization that fits with our Club’s mission in North Idaho and would like to submit a Grant Request for consideration, please send us a note through the Contact Us tab.

Scholarships

In addition to funding Grant Requests, our Club funds a variety of Scholarships for local Children. We support a Student of the Month at Lake City High School, outstanding students involved in our Key Club, and annual scholarships through the Kootenai Technical Education Campus (KTEC), and through the North Idaho College Foundation.

Scholarships Granted thus far in 2026 $3,400
Scholarships Granted in 2025 (total)$2,800.00
