Lake City Key Club

The Key Club at Lake City High School is a student-led service organization proudly sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Coeur d’Alene. As part of the Kiwanis family of Service Leadership Programs, the club equips students with leadership skills through hands-on service that benefits both their school and the greater Coeur d’Alene community.

Members participate in a variety of volunteer projects, fundraisers, and leadership activities that foster responsibility, compassion, and teamwork. Whether supporting school initiatives, assisting local nonprofits, or volunteering alongside Kiwanis members at community events, students gain practical experience while developing a lifelong commitment to service. As one of thousands of Key Clubs worldwide, the Lake City chapter provides a welcoming environment where students can grow in confidence, discover their strengths, and make a meaningful impact.

The Coeur d’Alene Kiwanis Club plays an active role in mentoring and supporting Key Club members by helping guide service projects, encouraging leadership development, and building connections between students and the community. This partnership creates opportunities for intergenerational collaboration while reinforcing Kiwanis’ mission of improving the world one child and one community at a time.
